I’m excited to announce that I was recently asked to take on a leadership role with my group at Agent Alliance OC to become a Mentor for new agents joining the team.
Ziad Moustafa, who I graduated from Santa Margarita Catholic High School with, has joined our team and is getting up and running as the first Mentee and I have
This role is challenging, as a newer agent myself but I’ve been supported by a tremendous team and owe a great deal of the success I’ve had to my support staff at Agent Alliance. I come from a selling background and in most cases the skillsets transfer from one industry to the next. Learning the lingo and the sales process is a whole different story and that’s one of the major benefits in working with the experience that comes with Agent Alliance. In the end, you can either sell or you can’t but there are about thirty-eight people that touch each real estate transaction and all with different roles. That’s a lot to learn and remember and … well, you get it; so again, I thank the support staff at Agent Alliance for giving me this opportunity and for having enough confidence in me and the knowledge I’ve gained in the last year to pass it on successfully to other agents.
You can’t learn everything in a day and I certainly don’t claim to know everything about the business in just one year. I was really fortunate to be able to close the number of sides that I did last year because with each sale comes an education that has shortened the learning curve for me.
This programs is time consuming for both me and my mentee so managing my time properly is more important now than ever. That said, I admit that this program will selfishly help me push my business to the next level. I hope my mentee gets as much out of it as I do because sometimes I look at these and wonder who is getting the better “deal”.
Exciting stuff and I wanted to share this news on my site because it was very rewarding to have that level of confidence from my support team but from my peers.
